Our passion for nurturing women through the transformative journey of motherhood is the foundation of our educational courses, specifically tailored to the delicate yet resilient nature of the postpartum body. With over a decade of experience in natural medicine and personal insights from mothering our 15 children, our teachings go beyond academic wisdom. Our holistic approach is infused with authentic care and an intimate understanding of the physical and emotional tapestry of the postpartum period.

          Dr. Sarah Duhon, ND
Dr. Sarah is the owner of Illuminate Natural Health in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she primarily helps people overcome a variety of complex chronic conditions and childhood developmental disorders. She is the mother of two boys in which she free-birthed at home. She has experienced and overcome the struggles miscarriage, delayed perineal healing, and low milk supply. She has additional experience as a labor and delivery, postpartum, and certified lactation consultant registered nurse in the hospital system.
          
          Dr. Megen McBride, ND
Dr. Megen is the owner of Dr. Megen McBride ND in Encinitas, California where she primarily treats patients struggling with hormone and immune imbalances to improve longevity and quality of life. She is the mother of five children, each of which were born in a different hospital care system across four different states. She is also a proud grandmother. She has overcome the struggle of defining boundaries and speaking her truth in the birth and postpartum period.
          
          Dr. Laura Hamill, ND
Dr. Laura is the owner of Heal SD in San Diego, California where she primarily treats patients struggling with hormone imbalances, ranging from infertility, thyroid conditions, menopause, period abnormalities, and postpartum mood disorders. She travels annually to South India to study Traditional Ayurvedic Medicine practices. She is the mother of three children, all born at home with the help of a midwife. She personally overcame struggles with infertility, postpartum depression and anxiety, and breastfeeding difficulties due to tongue and lip tie with the use of Ayurvedic, Naturopathic, and Conventional therapies.
Dr. Kimberley Love, ND
Dr. Kim is currently living in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. Her expertise in medicine lie in the use of energy healing techniques, such as Craniosacral Therapy, to release stored trauma and emotional pain. She is also the mother of three boys. She has personal experience with cesarean delivery, laboring at home with a midwife, and two hospital VBACs. She overcame birth trauma associated with her first birth and (due to the military lifestyle) is well-adept at being a solo parent for long periods of time.
          
          Dr. Leslie Black, ND
Dr. Leslie is the owner of LLB Naturopathic Medicine INC in La Jolla, California where she primarily treats a variety of complex chronic illnesses. She is also the mother of two children, both born in the hospital setting. She has personal experience with placenta previa, emergency cesarean, NICU, and breastfeeding difficulties due to tongue tie in which she overcame through a variety of natural and integrative therapies.
          
          The Collective
Together we have fifteen children, experienced twenty-six pregnancies, twenty-three years of breastfeeding, five different cultural and philosophical viewpoints, and over thirty-five years of first hand experience as mothers and counting. Dedication and empathy are at the core of our practice. We have devoted ourselves to empowering women to harness their body's remarkable capacity for healing.
